3.1 Setting up a new patient

This gives step-by-step instructions on how to create a new patient and how to add pathways to them.
Instructions
STEP 1: Navigate to Patients from the dashboard
There are two ways to create new patients.
Select the Patients menu option from the menu panel on the left of the dashboard screen.
Or you can click on Patients(New patient) option from the home page of the dashboard and create a new patient directly.
STEP 2: Review the Patient details from the main list
You can review the details of all the existing patients from the main list. On clicking on a particular patient, it would display the details of the patient. You can view the pathway progress of the patient from the main itself.
In this step, you can also change the app access for the patient. If the patient has lost their invite code, you can create a new code and send it via email to the patient. To do this click on Resend invite. This option is available only for unregistered users. Refer the below screenshot:
For the registered users, you only have the option to deactivate/activate account using the toogle button.
STEP 3: Create a new Patient
Click on the New Patient on the top right of the screen.
STEP 4: Add App invite details and Administration information
You can add the key details of the Patient. Start with the First Name, Last Name, Email address, Mobile Number of the patient. Add the patient doctor's name and the primary language of the patient. Next, add the address of the patient. Click the next arrow to proceed to step 5.
STEP 5: Create a Patient’s Journey
In step 5 of the wizard, you can create the journey of the patient. You can now add procedure pathways for the patient. Click on the +Add Procedure option as shown in the below screenshot. This would let you create patient pathways within journeys and is the basis for communication with the patients. Start with adding the procedure pathway from the list of the pathways added by the super admin user.
On clicking “Add Procedure” it opens the modal and lets you search and select the pathway. You can see the pathways that are added by the super admin user to the hospital only.
Click on “Add”. Refer the below screenshot
You should now add the index event dates with respect to the procedure pathway added.
You can view the details of the selected pathway specific to the patient when you click on the “details” button.
You can also delete the added procedure pathway by clicking on the “Delete” option which is represented by dustbin icon as shown in the below screenshot:
STEP 6: Review the new Patient’s details
In step 5, of the wizard, review the details of the patient. Click on the back arrow to make changes as required. Once confirmed, click on save to create the new patient. An invite code will be sent to the patient to install the FPA app.
Note: At any time click on the 'X' at the top right corner to close the process and delete the details added.
