3.3.1 Pathway creation using Shared Pathways
Contents
This section provides step-by-step instructions on how to create a Pathway using “Shared Pathways“
What are Shared Pathways?
Shared Pathways is a collection of pathways shared by other PEP Health organisations and some example pathways for your reference. You can select any one of them from the list and use it to create a new pathway for use within your organisation.
STEP 1: Navigate to Shared Pathways
Select the Pathways drop-down menu option from the menu panel on the left-hand side or click on the “Pathways” option from the home page of the admin dashboard, see screenshot below.
From the sub-menu under Pathways, click on “Shared Pathways”
STEP 2: Select one of the Shared Pathways to ‘USE’
Once you have decided on which pathway to use, click on the ‘USE' button from the 'Action’ column beside it.
STEP 3: Map Index Events
On the Map Index Events page, use the drop-down to select index events available in your organisation and match them appropriately to the index events in the shared pathway you are trying to use.
If your organisation does not have enough distinct index events to map all the ones from the shared pathway or if you do not have one that is appropriate, you can use the “+ Add Index Event” option available at the bottom of the drop-down to create new index events and map it with the same name as the one from the shared pathway.
Click on the “Save“ icon to proceed.
STEP 4: Navigate to Pathways
Once the index events mapping is saved, the new pathway created using the shared pathway will be available for use in the Pathways list under the same name.
