3.5.2 Pathway Sharing

Contents

This section provides step-by-step instructions on sharing and unsharing a Pathway with other PEP Health organisations.

Once an organisation admin shares a pathway, they will have no control over how other PEP Health customers use it. Admins can unshare a pathway to prevent future use but cannot revoke access to the pathway from other PEP Health organisations if it is already in use.

Kindly communicate with Liquid State before sharing a pathway to understand the implications and get more information fully.

STEP 1: Create Snapshots

By default, the Pathway is in an “Active“ state and can be edited anytime as needed. Therefore, it cannot be shared in this state unless a “Snapshot” is created first. A Snapshot is an instance of the Pathway at a specific point in time that is read-only and cannot be edited. To create a Snapshot, use the icon available in the top right corner as shown in the screenshot below.

In the ‘Create Snapshot’ pop-up modal, enter a ‘Name’ and ‘Description’ for the snapshot and click the “Create“ button.

Once snapshot creation is successful, you will see a success message as shown below.

In addition to the success message, you can also check the dropdown beside the pathway name and see the new snapshot listed below “Active“ with the name you entered in the 'Create Snapshot’ pop-up modal.

STEP 2: Share a Pathway

There are 2 ways you can approach sharing a Pathway -

  • Share a Pathway directly from the create modal

  • Share a Pathway using the share icon

OPTION 1: Share the Pathway directly from the create modal

During the creation of a Snapshot, in the 'Create Snapshot’ modal, you can check the “Make this the currently shared Snapshot“ checkbox to automatically share the pathway with other PEP Health organisations.

OPTION 2: Share the Pathway using the share icon

To use this option, you need to first switch from an “Active“ state to the newly created “Snapshot“ state from the dropdown menu available beside the Pathway name as shown below.

Next, use the icon available in the top right corner to start sharing the pathway.

In the pop-up modal, select “Share Snapshot“ to finish sharing the pathway with other PEP Health organisations.

Once pathway snapshot sharing is successful, you will see a success message as shown below.

In addition to the success message, you can also check the dropdown beside the pathway name and see the snapshot that was shared has a SHARED” tag now as shown below.

STEP 3: Unshare a Pathway

To unshare a pathway, use the same icon available in the top right corner while you are on one of the “shared snapshot” states selected from the dropdown menu available beside the Pathway name as shown below.

In the pop-up modal, select “Unshare Snapshot“ to finish sharing the pathway with other PEP Health organisations.

Once pathway snapshot unsharing is successful, you will see a success message as shown below and the SHARED” tag will disappear from the snapshot name listed in the dropdown menu available beside the Pathway name.
