Linking ID to a field allows the content to be identified and used multiple times throughout your content.

You don't have to assign a Cross Linking ID to Section or Fields for the Cross Linking Feature to work. A randomly generated UUID will be created for the Section or Field when a Cross Linking action is initiated if the Section or Field doesn't already contain an ID. |

- Search for your Document
- Open the Document to display the Pages
- Click on Edit Content to open the Page Editor
- If you haven't added a Section - Add a Section
- Click the + on the Section to Add a Field
- Once the Field is added, click the drop-down box on the Field to display a set of options
- Select Edit from the drop-down options
