In this article, learn how to setup your PEP Health account and start using the app.

STEP 1: Complete Onboarding

When you first launch the PEP Health app, you will be taken through a brief onboarding (or getting started) process to explain the core features of the app.

If you would like to skip this step, press the “Skip” button in the bottom left corner of your screen.

Tap the icon to start.

STEP 2: Complete Registration

  • To complete your registration, provide a current email address and create a strong password that is at least 8 characters long contains at least one uppercase and one lowercase letter and one number

  • Next, review the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy

  • Check the boxes to agree to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy

  • So that your health care team can access the information you provide to them through the app, please check the box next to ‘I agree to allowing this service to track my details’

Important Privacy Information

You can request a copy of your data anytime in your profile settings page. 

If at any time you decide that you would no longer like to share your identified data, you can put forward a “Delete my data” request in the app to remove your personal details from the database. Please note, this will in turn disable the app, and you will no longer be able to use that account. 

STEP 3: Verify Your Account

To verify your account, please enter the verification code sent to the email address you provided during your account registration. If you can not find the code, please check your email’s spam folder. 

  • Swipe up from the bottom of the screen (iPhone X or later) or press the home button (Android or older iOS models)

  • Navigate to your email app and locate the email from your health care provider with the heading named “Your verification code”

  • Copy the code and reopen PEP Health by tapping on the app icon. Tap in the Verification Code field and enter the code

Account Setup Complete

Congratulations, you can now start your PEP Health journey!

 

STEP 4: Enter Your Invite Code

To link your account with the PEP Health app and connect with your care team, use the unique Invite Code that was emailed to you by your care team.

  • Next, swipe up from the bottom of the screen (iPhone X or later) or press the home button (Android or lower iPhone models)

  • Navigate to your email app and locate the email from your care team with the heading named “PEP Health Invite Code”

  • Copy the code and reopen PEP Health by tapping on the app icon.
