What are Page Templates?

Page Templates are pre-arranged groupings of Page Sections that can be used as a starting point when creating a new page in the Page Editor.

Page Templates are configured by a Space Admin user. For more information, see Space Administration - Page Templates.

Page Templates are not completely static - Editors are able to add, edit, and remove the Page Sections and Fields within their page even after choosing to create the page based on a Page Template.

Changes to Page Templates do not affect existing pages.

Unlike Page Sections and individual Fields, Page Templates are not added to pages within the Page Editor.

Instead, they are selected when creating a new page.
