Adding a Cross Embedding ID to a field allows the content to be identified and used multiple times throughout your content. By default, a document will have a Cross Embedding ID matching the document name.

You don't have to assign a Cross Embedding ID to Documents for them to work. By default, an ID is create the same time the document is named. It adopts the same name as the document.



To add a Cross Embedding ID to a Document

  1. Search for your Document or create one
  2. Click on Edit Details

  3. Change the Embedding ID to something recognisable and Save

You have now located and changed the Cross Embedding ID for your Document. This will allow you to easily recognise the Document when you're embedding content.
