Add a Cross Linking ID to a Document
Adding a Cross Linking ID to a field allows the content to be identified and used multiple times throughout your content. By default, a document will have a Cross Linking ID matching the document name.
You don't have to assign a Cross Linking ID to Documents for them to work. By default, an ID is create the same time the document is named. It adopts the same name as the document.
To add a Cross Linking ID to a Document
- Search for your Document or create one
- Click on Edit Details
- Change the Linking ID to something recognisable and Save
You have now located and changed the Cross Linking ID for your Document. This will allow you to easily recognise the Document when you're linking content.
