Assets Required for App Submissions

In order for your app to be published on Play Store and App Store, we would need the following assets.

Google Play Store


AssetDetails
TitleThis is the title which users will see when viewing your app in the Google Play store
Short DescriptionA short description which is displayed in your app listing's preview. This description can be up to 80 characters.
Full DescriptionA  full description of your app, which is displayed in your app listing. This description can be up to 4000 characters.
Screenshots

For Android screenshots, we use Device Art Generator. Following are the steps:

  1. The customer specifies which screenshots they want.
  2. Liquid State team resizes the screenshots to 1440x2880 for Phone (Remove Notification Bar)
  3. Liquid State team resizes the screenshots to 1024x768 for Android Tab. (Remove Notification Bar)
  4. Use Device Art Generator to create screenshots with device wireframes.

Final device wireframes would be either in JPEG format or 24-bit PNG (no Alpha) format.

Icons

Following icons are required:

  1. Hi-res icon with 512x512 px (32-bit PNG with Alpha)
  2. Medium density icon 160x160 px (PNG)
  3. High density icon 240x240 px (PNG)
  4. Very high density icon 320x320 px (PNG)
  5. Ultra high density icon 480x480 px (PNG)
Feature Graphic

Feature Graphic sits on top of the the screenshots. It is very critical in marketing point of view and mandatory to complete the store listing.

1024 w x 500 h

JPG or 24-bit PNG (no alpha)

Content RatingA questionnaire needs to be completed. This can either be completed by Liquid State team or the client itself.
Privacy PolicyA privacy policy needs to be submitted before the app can go live. The privacy policy needs to sit on the domain of the client.  A quick workaround this is to use a privacy policy generator like this to create a privacy policy.
COOPA Complianceif the app is directed towards children then, it needs to be COOPA compliant. 
Loading Images

Not every app has Loading Images but if this is relevant to your app then please provide the loading images in the following sizes:

  1. Medium density loading image 480x438 px (PNG)
  2. High density loading image 720x656 px (PNG)
  3. Very high density loading image 760x876 px (PNG)
  4. Extra high density loading image 1440x1312 px (PNG)
  5. Ultra high density loading image 2160x2032 px (PNG)


TagsTags are used to improve search function in the app. Liquid State will identify tags from the list provided by Google Play Console and send it to the client for approval
CategoryWhat is the category that best describes your app. 
Liquid State can define this and get the client's approval on this
Countries The app can be made available to all the countries or be limited to one or more countries as needed. If the app has limitations on the countries it should be made available too, then give Liquid State the list of countries the app should be made available in.

Apple App Store

AssetDetails
NameThe name of the app that will be displayed in the App Store
Promotional TextThis text will appear above your description on the App Store for customers with devices running iOS 11 or later, and macOS 10.13 or later.
DescriptionA description of your app, detailing features and functionality. 
Support URLA URL with support information for your app. This URL will be visible on the App Store.
Privacy Policy Use the same policy generated for Android version
Screenshots

Following are the steps:

  1. The customer specifies which screenshots they want.
  2. Liquid State team creates screenshots with device frames with the resolution of 1242 x 2208 pixels for portrait. (iPhone 5.5 inch display)
  3. Liquid State team creates screenshots with device frames with the resolution of 1242 x 2668 pixels for portrait (iPhone 6.5 inch display)
  4. Liquid State team creates screenshots with device frames with the resolution of 2732 x 2048 pixels for landscape. (iPad 12.9 inch display)

The dimensions provided are the dimensions of the screenshot within a device frame.

KeywordsInclude one or more keywords that describe your app. Keywords make App Store search results more accurate.
CategoryWhat is the category that best describes your app.

Countries The app can be made available to all the countries or be limited to one or more countries as needed. If the app has limitations on the countries it should be made available too, then give Liquid State the list of countries the app should be made available in.
CopyrightThe name of the person or entity that owns the exclusive rights to your app, preceded by the year the rights were obtained (for example, "2008 Acme Inc."). Do not provide a URL.
