5.3 How to Create, Edit & Delete Videos

This section provides a guide and instructions for managing Content Videos.

STEP 1: Navigate to Videos

Select the “Content” menu option from the left menu panel in the dashboard. Click on “Videos” in the drop-down menu.

STEP 2: Review Video details

Here you can review the details of a video by clicking on any of the videos in the main document list.

STEP 3: Create a new Video

To create a new video, click the “New” button in the top right corner of the page to view a drop-down menu.

STEP 4: Add Video details

Next, start adding the required Details in the fields including the video Title, Description, Language, and Status.

There are two Status options to choose from:

Select “Publish video once created” if you want the video to be published.

Select “Don’t video document” if you don’t want the video to be published.

STEP 5: Add Content to a Video

Here you can add the required Content to the video. Start by adding the video Heading, Description, YouTube URL, Publish date and Run time.

STEP 6: Review the Video

Here you can Review the video details with the attached content. Press the back arrow to make any changes.

Once reviewed, click on the “Save” button to create the new video.

STEP 7: Edit Video details

To edit a Video, first click on it from the Video list, then click on the “Edit” option in the top-right corner of the page. Here you will be able to make changes to the Details and Content field.

Make sure to save any changes made to the video.

STEP 8: Preview a Video

To preview a video, click on a video in the “Content” section. Next, click on the Open icon to open and preview the video and its details.

STEP 9: Delete a Video

To delete a video, select the video you want to delete from the main list and click on the Bin icon, as shown below.

STEP 10: Publish/ Unpublish the Video

You can Publish or Unpublish the video by selecting the icon in the top right corner next to the Bin icon, as shown below.

Note: Published Videos are visible on Pathways whereas Unpublished Videos are not.
