Testing pathways and other functionalities with multiple patients is a necessary and you must be wondering how. This article covers everything that you should know with respect to testing by creating multiple fake accounts and how to do so.

Best to use gmail address

The best way to test the patients and pathways is to use the gmail address than any other domain address.

How to create multiple accounts using the same gmail address?

You need not use the actual gmail address of multiple people to test the patients and pathways. Instead you can use your own gmail address and create multiple accounts.

To use a single gmail address for multiple accounts, you can just append a plus ("+") sign and any combination of words or numbers after the email address.

For example, if the gmail address is anna_hogan@gmail.com, you can also create multiple accounts using an email address as shown below:

anna_hogan@gmail.com - Patient 1

anna_hogan+2@gmail.com - Patient 2

anna_hogan+patient1@gmail.com - Patient 3

anna_hogan+patient1@gmail.com - Patient 4 , and so on. Basically any combination of words or numbers after the email address and a “+” sign.

Modifying your actual gmail address this way will let you send all the invitation code and related information to the actual email address which in this case is anna_hogan@gmail.com.

Test Patient

In the PEP dashboard you can add these email addresses while creating the patient and filling the details of a patient.

STEP: 1 Log into the PEP dashboard and create a new patient as shown in the screenshot below:

STEP: 2 Fill in all the details to create the patient

STEP: 3 Add the pathways for this patient as shown below.

STEP: 4 Review it and click on ‘Save’ as shown below.

So this way you can create multiple test patients to test for the pathways.
