Add a Page from one Variation to another

As a Content Editor, you may want to add a page from one Variation to another. For example, the content you have in Variation 2 is applicable to the Master Variation and you want Variation 2 content to appear in all variations.

To add a page from one Variation to another:

  1. Ensure you have created a page in another Variation.
  2. Navigate to the Document from the Document Categories.
  3. Locate the Page from the given document.
  4. From the top left-hand of the screen, select the Variation you want to move content into. In this instance, we're going to move content from Variation 2 to the Master Variation, therefore, we're going to select Master Variation from the top left-hand menu.
  5. Click on the drop-down box next to the Page you want to add to the current Variation.

Content created in a different Variation other than the one currently select will only have the Preview feature enabled. You cannot delete or edit content from a Variation different than the Variation it was created in unless you Add it to the Variation (covered below).

  6. Click Add to Variation on the Page you want to add to the current Variation. In this instance, we want to add Page B (which was created in Variation 2) to the Master Variation.

  7. A message at the top of the screen will indicate the successful addition of the Page to the current Variation.
