Create a Page in Master Variation

As a Content Editor, you may want variations to content that never changes and applies to all content. Creating this in the Master Variation will ensure the given variations apply to all content.

Important

Adding content to the Master Variation means that it will apply to all Variations. You'll be able to see content created in Master Variation in any other Variation you create by default.

To create a Page in the Master (default) variation:

Ensure you have Variations enabled for the Space and Document.
Enter the Page List of your Document.
Ensure that Master is the selected Variation.
Click Create.
Edit the details for the page and click Save.
The page will automatically navigate to the Page Editor in Carbon Editor. Ensure you're in the Master Variation found at the top left of the page.
Add content to the Page and Save once satisfied.

You've now created a Page in the Master Variation.
