How to: Create App ID in Apple Developer
App ID's are created after Certificates are generated. An App ID registers that app with Apple and will be used throughout the creation of Provisioning Profiles, App Testing and Release.
To create a fresh App ID for an app:
- Go to Apple Developer Console and login
- Click Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles
- Create an Identifier (if you haven't done so already)
- Click App ID's and click + on the top-right
- Enter a name, usually App Name ID
- Enter the Explicit ID generated from Ubiquity
- Select Push Notifications under the App Services heading
- Click Continue
- Ensure the settings are configured. Should look like this:
