4.2 How to Create, Edit & Delete Videos

This page will guide you through the steps of navigating to the Content Videos and then how to create, delete, publish/unpublish videos.

STEP 1: Navigate to Videos

Select the Content menu option from the menu panel on the left of the dashboard screen. Click on Videos from the drop-down on the menu panel on the left of the dashboard screen. Click on a video from the list for the next step

STEP 2: Review the video details

You can review the details of the videos by clicking on any one of the videos from the main videos list.

STEP 3: Create a new Video

You can always create a new Video using the option “New” with the drop-down present on the top right corner of the page.

STEP 4: Add details

We can start filling the required details in the field:

In the Details section, we can start adding Title of the video, Description of the Video, Language required, and Status field will have the option to :

Publish Video once created: If you want the video to be published

Don’t publish video: If you want the video not to be published.

STEP 5: Add Content

We can add the required content to the video in this field.

We can start adding the Title of the video page, Description of the video. Also, input the YouTube URL and the publish date with run time.

STEP 6: Review the details of the video

The final category Review would help us to review the whole summary of the video with the attached content. Press the back arrow if you want to change any details. Click on the Save button to create a new Video.

STEP 7: Edit the details of the video

Click on the ‘edit’ option on the top-right corner to edit the video details where you can make the necessary changes in the Details and Content field. Review the changed details and save the video details.

STEP 8: Preview the Video details

You can preview the video by opening a video in the Content Section. This would display the video with the description you have added. Click on the Open icon to preview the video with a description.

STEP 9: Delete a Video

1. Click on the ‘Dustbin’ from the top right corner of the page. This is to delete a video and will prompt a warning modal.

2. Prompt being displayed. Pressing OK will delete the Video.

STEP 10: Publish/Un publish Video

You can Publish/Un publish the video using the options present on the top right corner.

Published Videos are visible on pathways whereas unpublish videos are not.

STEP 11: Filtering the Videos

You can filter the documents from the main list using the language filter as shown in the below screenshot:
